An excellent career opportunity for a leader in Civil Engineering with municipal project experience is now available with a busy and successful firm’s Lake Oswego, OR location. This firm works in a wide variety of engineering disciplines and operates 3 regional offices.

This Group Leader will develop opportunities, pursue leads and acquire new projects for the Oregon municipal group. The Lead will determine the labor, resource and financial needs of the department, coordinate with Senior Staff to establish strategic goals, cross- discipline marketing and resource sharing opportunities. Additionally, the Lead will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and training municipal department staff, performing yearly performance reviews as well as providing assistance with hiring employees for the department.
Skills Requirements: Strong leadership, management, communication and decision making skills, especially excelling in the areas of developing effective relationships with clients, elected officials and the public, are critical to the success of this position. Candidates must have a history of successful projects focused on public utility infrastructure (water, wastewater, stormwater) and capital improvement projects including transportation and public facility projects. A background in water and wastewater process engineering is also desirable.
