Job Specifics
Job Description: Coordinate all well connect projects, capital growth projects, existing facilities construction projects and pipeline repair projects.

Develop detailed bid packages for major growth capital projects, coordinating the efforts of the other stakeholders which include Corporate Engineering, Contract Services, ESH and Risk Management.

Initiate Purchase Requisitions thru the ONEOK Purchasing Department utilizing the on line process for poly and steel pipe and other determined large quantity purchases.

Supervise the preparation of estimates, final AFEs, project status reports, and completion reports.

Coordinate with internal resources on the development and implementation of Contractor Master Service Agreements.

Secure preliminary construction data such as cost estimates, preliminary sketches, and pipeline routing requirements.

Ensure all codes are followed during construction and material acquisitions by outside sources meet specification and design criteria.

Skills Requirements: Preferred candidate will possess:

An Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Design & Drafting or Construction Management.

College course work completed in Piping and Design Layout and Technical Writing

Work experience in an engineering technician or designer role

Some construction management background preferably in Oil & Gas

Experience with preparation of "as-builts" and some background with engineering design software such as AutoCad or equivalent.

Experience in reading and interpreting legal property descriptions, land survey information and construction specifications and drawings.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of gathering / trunkline pipeline, compressor station and associated equipment operations and maintenance.

Demonstrated ability to compile and prepare reports, recommendations and correspondence.

Proven ability to manage projects.

Successful candidate must:

Be self motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work closely with field teams and Management, and coordinate work with other appropriate technical resources.

Have a Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather, heights, lifting, and cramped conditions.

Subject to callout 24/7, extended workdays/work weeks and operational on call schedule and emergency response support. May require overnight travel.
